GREENSBORO, N.C. – July 1, 2021 – Today Proficient Health® announced that Touro Infirmary LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA., has selected PH Capture®, a fax and document management solution to manage incoming information in their outpatient rehabilitation facility.

It is essential for out-patient rehab to efficiently send and receive a patient’s care documents to the necessary providers involved in care delivery. Touro Infirmary’s outpatient rehab facility sought a solution to efficiently and securely process patient information to support it with customized workflows.

Touro’s outpatient rehab facility creates a Plan of Care (POC) in Epic and uses PH Capture to send it directly to the receiving providers. PH Capture is also being used to receive POCs from non-Epic providers. The information flows seamlessly to and from the EHR and PH Capture with a patient demographic interface, provider interface, and other integrations. Outpatient rehab will also use PH Capture to obtain the appropriate signatures from providers scheduling incoming orders.

“We have valued our relationship with Touro Infirmary in the past and look forward to continuing working together,” says Robb Hutchison, chief executive officer of Proficient Health. “PH Capture has made it possible to eliminate paper faxing, scanning and printing in many hospitals and health systems. We will remain committed to helping Touro’s outpatient rehab facility bridge the technology divide.”
