Nicklaus Children’s Health System Selects Proficient Health to Improve Communication with Referring Providers
GREENSBORO, N.C. – January 29, 2021 – Today Proficient Health announced that Nicklaus Children’s Health System in Miami, FL., has selected PH Connect, a provider-to-provider mobile app, to connect providers community-wide.
Serving a large geographic area, Nicklaus Children’s was seeking a technology solution to help strengthen its connection with referring providers and simplify referral processes. PH Connect does just that by tackling the inefficiencies that come along with navigating complicated technology environments full of disparate systems and a mix of manual and automated processes.
The PH Connect app will be used by providers to reach the right physician, practice or service line more quickly on behalf of their patients -- without having to navigate on-call sheets and 1-800 number phone trees. With integrated call schedules and intelligent message routing, PH Connect provides direct communication to the appropriate provider with the touch of a button, complete with any supporting notes, images, and test results.
“PH Connect is exactly what we have been looking for over the past 7-8 years,” says Dr. Seo. “We needed a solution that made it simple to refer patients to our hospital and we have found it! This is a win-win for both patients and providers. The integration with our call schedules and electronic health record system will streamline the processes even further to ensure we’re providing the highest quality patient care.”
“We are excited to begin working alongside Nicklaus Children’s Health System to help build the most efficient referral system possible and expedite care for their patients,” says Robb Hutchison, chief executive officer of Proficient Health. “We look forward to helping them bridge the technology divide to better connect and engage with providers throughout their community.”
